The Voice: Referendum

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where Thinkly operates, pay respect to their Elders – past, present, and emerging – and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples continue to play within the community.  We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.  Everywhere across this country – where we walk, work, and grow – always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Thinkly has heard the invitation that is the Uluru Statement from the Heart. We are humbled to walk alongside and in partnership with you to create a better, more meaningful future for all Australian people.

Thank you for delivering this through a sign of friendship and a sign of peace.

We acknowledge that we all must work together to bring reconciliation to Australia and your voices need to be empowered.

We recognise and support the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

We support your call for the establishment of a First Nations voice enshrined in the Constitution and for a referendum to amend the Constitution accordingly.

We support your call for the development of a Makarrata Commission to supervise a process of agreement-making between governments and First Nations, and truth-telling about our history.

Our commitment is to continue to walk with you by raising awareness to this important national dialogue with our people, our clients, and our industry.

We will do this through launching Cultural Competency and Reconciliation Awareness training for our team members; and providing our team members with the time and flexibility to support the Yes campaign, through volunteering initiatives.
